My culinary journey began in 1999 in my home country of Scotland, and over the past 25 years I’ve had the privilege of working across the hospitality and tourism industries. For the past 13 years, New Zealand has been home — a place that’s shaped both my approach to food and my understanding of what great service really means.

Through Caledonia Catering, I now focus on two core areas: Private Catering and Food Safety Consulting. Having spent decades in kitchens and operations, I understand the pressures hospitality teams face — from seasonal demand and staffing challenges to rising costs and shifting customer expectations.
